Privacy-first

Your video stays in your browser. Full stop.

Practicing on camera feels exposed enough. You shouldn't have to wonder where your recordings end up. Here is the precise version of what leaves the device and what does not.

On this device

Camera preview, the video file, playback, and the scores after they return.

Sent once

The transcript text, so it can be scored. Not the video.

Account record

If you sign in: email, credits, purchases, and practice session ids. Not the video or the transcript.

Your video is never uploaded. Recording and playback happen locally in your browser. We don't store your video on our servers, and we can't watch it.

The transcript is made in your browser. Chrome and Edge use the Web Speech API while you record. In Chrome that recognition is Google's speech service, not an upload to OneShot. Safari often does not caption live, and Firefox does not. Type or paste the answer in those browsers. We then send the transcript text, not the video, to OpenRouter to be scored. We do not store that text. Google and the model provider may keep a copy under their own policies, and we do not control those periods. The privacy policy is the full write-up.

You control the copy on this device. The results page has a delete button for the video, transcript, and feedback stored in this browser. We do not keep a server copy.

No account needed to try it. The first full practice on a browser does not require sign-up. Buying a session does.
