Who we are
The data controller is OneShot Interview. Contact hello@oneshotinterview.com.
What we collect
- Your account email, when you sign in.
- Practice transcripts: the words captured as text while you answer, or the text you type.
- Scores and the written feedback produced from that transcript.
- Purchase records: the plan, the amount, credits or the 30-day pass, and the payment reference.
The practice video stays in your browser. The page records it with the browser's camera and keeps the file in this browser so you can play it back. It is not uploaded. We do not have a copy, and we cannot watch it.
Who processes it
- Supabase, in Tokyo, stores the account and purchase records and runs sign-in.
- Google provides Google sign-in. Live captions in Chrome use Google's speech service in the browser. We do not receive that audio.
- Creem is the merchant of record for payments. We do not receive your full card number.
- OpenRouter scores the transcript and can write practice questions from a job description you paste. The video is not included.
- Vercel hosts the site.
We do not sell your information. We keep a daily count of scoring requests against a hash of the IP, and your account id when you are signed in. We do not store the raw IP.
Retention
The video, transcript, and score stay in this browser until you delete the session or clear this site's data. We do not keep a server copy of them. Your account email, credit balance, and purchase records stay for as long as the account exists. Supabase, Google, Creem, OpenRouter, and Vercel may keep their own records under their policies. We do not set those periods.
Deletion
Email hello@oneshotinterview.com and ask us to delete your account. We delete the account email, credits, and purchase records we hold. The results page deletes the video, transcript, and score stored in that browser.
Children
OneShot Interview is for people preparing for job interviews. It is not directed at children.
A shorter explanation of the recording design is on how in-browser recording works.
