Graduate scheme video interview questions
Graduate programs and rotational schemes use one-way video interviews because they have more applicants than live interview slots. You are usually early in your career, so the examples can come from university, part-time work, societies, or a first job. The standard is still the same: a specific story, your actions, and a result.

1. Why this graduate program?
How to approach it: Connect the rotations or training to a skill you want, and say why this employer rather than a generic scheme.
2. Tell us about a time you led without a formal title.
How to approach it: Leadership here means you moved the work. What did you decide, and who came with you?
3. Describe a time you balanced study or work with other commitments.
How to approach it: Show a choice, not a complaint. What did you protect, and what did you drop?
4. Tell us about a time you influenced someone who disagreed with you.
How to approach it: Start from their concern. Then say what you changed your mind about, or how you found a next step.
5. What achievement are you most proud of, and why?
How to approach it: Pick one. Spend the time on what you did and why it was hard, not on the award itself.
6. Describe a time you failed, and what you changed afterward.
How to approach it: Choose a real miss. The change in behavior is the answer reviewers remember.
7. How do you approach working with people from different backgrounds?
How to approach it: Use one example. What did you do differently because of someone else's perspective?
8. Where do you want this program to take you?
How to approach it: Show ambition that fits the program. Growing skills and responsibility lands better than a plan to leave.
